Sweet Monday's mission is "reaching out to women one sweet invitation at a time for Christ."
Our Sweet Principles
SIMPLE
Seek ye first the kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33 KJV
Not only should this be a priority, but by keeping it so simple you never dread it, other women feel no obligation to have you back! For example, you serve only one dessert and candy to match the Sweet Monday theme. You do not have to mail invitations. It's easy to invite women to something that is the same time/same place every month. It's fun and encouraging...with no shoestrings attached!
SWEET
How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Psalm 119:103 NIV
Not only is God's word sweet, but God promises in Isaiah 55:11 that His word does not return void. He is the Best Encourager. Every Sweet Monday a devotion is shared which is tied to the theme and points women to Christ.
SALTY
You are the salt of the earth. Matthew 5:13a NIV
We are the salt of the earth whether we feel like it or not. Salt was absolutely essential to everyday life in Bible times. There will never be a time when we are not useful or flavorful through Christ as we reflect Him to a rotting world that desperately needs His seasoning and preservative for all eternity.
